WORKS BEFORE 2008

All works framed unless otherwise noted.
Frames have been personally chosen to enhance each individual painting,
as most have been entered into juried art shows.

DUCK ON WINNIPESAUKEE, Oil, 18"x40" - SOLD
I took photos at the wharf in Wolfboro, NH where I saw Mallard ducks swimming among these wonderful "broken" wave reflections. In my studio, I worked hard at coming up with a composition that included these. It is probably my favorite painting. A dear friend bought it right off my easel! I hope soon to include a giclee for sale on this website.

Sunlit Forest

SUNLIT FOREST, Oil 9" x 12" - 12" x 16" framed - SOLD
Love the lush cool greenery here. You can almost smell its freshness.

Waiting for You

WAITING FOR YOU, Watercolor, 15" x 22" framed - $125.
We had a seasonal campsite in Maine for many years. It was on a small pretty pond. An older lady kept this boat tied up at one end. Didn't get used much, thus the name of the painting.

Warwick Sunny Lane

WARWICK SUNNY LANE, Watercolor, 10" x 13.5" framed - $95.
A trip checking out some family ancestry led us to the Warwick, NY area. We stayed in a very neat inn next to which we discovered this perfectly lit lane to our dream estate (pretend).

Weeping Branch

WEEPING BRANCH, Watercolor, SOLD
Painted this one on a vacation at a camp site in Ossipee, NH The view was right there, as were some curious mallard ducks who came right up to check out my paints! I found that patterns of little triangular shapes were right to represent the leaves on this birch.

Yellow Leaves

YELLOW LEAVES, Acrylic, SOLD
Loved the strong afternoon sun lighting up the leaves to yellow against the brilliant blues of the water.

Blue Ice

BLUE ICE, Watercolor13.5"x17" framed - SOLD

I was just experimenting one day with blocking out areas with tape and painting in various intensities. So the whole painting just kind of happened!

Ogunquit Wave

OGUNQUIT WAVE, Watercolor, SOLD
Worked from a photo of a favorite rocky point on the Marginal Way in Ogunquit, Maine. Such a gorgeous place!

Simple Reflection

SIMPLE IMITATION, Acrylic, SOLD
I've kept this painting for many years. I love the simplicity of its composition. Seems like a nice calm place to be.
