Frames have been personally chosen to enhance each individual painting,
as most have been entered into juried art shows.

GEESE AT SUNDOWN, Acrylic, 9"x12", framed 14.5"x17.5", $250
Working from an inspiration from years ago, this painting grew to
become a late day scene with a bit of an old style.
It is wonderfully enhanced by a unique frame that sets it off beautifully.

Low Tide at Pratt's Island
LOBSTER BOAT'S COMIN'. Oil, 9"x12", $195
Painted this on location many years ago. I remember it clearly, as do I know I'll pay attention
to using sunscreen from now on! Finally got around to doing the bit of tweaking it needed, having
gotten my oil paints out again. Fun to call something done with so little work!

I photographed this perfect vignette near my home. I just love the
graceful branches and, of course the leaf colors!
I’m sure I’ll be painting more like this.

AUTUMN DELIGHT, Acrylic, 9"x12", framed 12"x15", $165
Working from a photo of a neighbor's site at our campground
several years ago,  I was attracted to the leaf colors and veining.
Also, the lighting, even in the daytime was quite dramatic

This painting was based on a pencil drawing I did long ago
when I drew from a rowboat on Lake Massabesic.
I loved the contrasts reflected into the water.

MORNING MISTY SHORE, Acrylic, 9"x12",  $125 unframed on canvas board
Based on an older pencil drawing of mine, I decided to visualize the scene in color.
The place is really all made up! Would you like to be there?

Quiet Sunday Morning

QUIET SUNDAY MORNING, Water Color, 8"x10", $150
Strolling around the quaint town of Chestertown, MD and needing to take a rest
on my own bench across the street, I saw this perfect painting subject... the dog got me!

Chestertown Green

CHESTERTOWN GREEN, Water Color, 8"x10", $150
The quaint town of Chestertown, Md, became a many visited and enjoyable place.
The center of town featured not only a great Saturday market day but a chance for me to view
their magnificent imported Italian fountain. Beautiful market day excitement, with a Europeon flavor.
